Can’t Volunteer as a Mentor Right Now?

There are many ways individuals and groups may be able to help BBBSU ignite potential for kids in Utah.

Donate Used Clothing/Household Items
or Host a Clothing Drive

Our Donation Center is responsible for 30% of our annual revenue. When you donate used clothes and household items, we turn your used items into funding to support our mentoring programs.

We have all the tools to help you set up a clothing drive with your company, school, church, neighborhood, or club. We also partner with youth teams and clubs who may want to run a clothing drive as a fundraiser.

Click here for donation drop-off locations and further information on hosting a clothing drive.

Share Your Talents With Our Mentoring
Matches by Hosting an Activity or a Party

There are two ways you can contribute your talents to help our matches:

First, we look for fun activities for our community-based mentoring matches. Do you teach yoga? Lead canyon hikes? Teach painting classes? Why not set up a one-time class or activity? For more details, contact [email protected].

Second, host a school supply drive at your office to support our school-based programs and ensure they have the resources they need. You can even come deliver them in person and see our school-based programs in action to see the difference your donations will be making. For more details, and a current list of supplies needed contact contact Eowyn at [email protected].

Make a Financial Investment in Mentoring

What’s unique about the BBBSU model is the level of support for mentoring matches. The staff at BBBSU spend a great deal of time recruiting, screening, training, and supporting the Bigs and Littles in our program. When we add it all up, each match costs nearly $1,800 per year.

You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring monthly donation to support kids in our community. Visit our Donation page to donate today! For questions, contact [email protected].

Support an Annual Fundraising Event

BBBSU holds three fundraising events each year – Bowl For Kids’ Sake in the Winter, Golf Fore Kids’ Sake in the Spring, and the Big Night Out gala in the Fall.

Visit our Events page for more information on participating or volunteering in one of our events. For questions, contact [email protected]
