Big Brothers Big Sisters works hard to empower the potential in youth here in Utah. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to support more than 350 local kids in 2018 just from the funds raised through clothing donations. In total we provided mentoring services to 1309 kids in 2018. Businesses are not the only ones that we partner with to do clothing drives. We also partner with youth-serving nonprofits and schools to help raise funds. These include:

The Drive
Contact us to schedule your drive today. We can help you with the planning and if you are planning a multi-day drive, we can provide the collection barrels or a trailer to store the clothe during the drive.
From there, we take the goods you’ve collected and sell them to Savers thrift stores. If you are a youth-serving group, we’ll send you a check in the mail. The amount will be based on the pounds of goods you contributed.
The Difference
Each donation is an important contribution to helping kids perform better in school, avoid risky behaviors, and gain confidence. Not only are you helping Utah kids, you are also helping the environment.
For every item that is donated and repurposed, there is less cloth waste piling up in our landfills. Both of these benefits factor into making Utah a cleaner, safer place to live. So far, 3,375,403 pounds of cloth waste has been diverted from Utah landfills just in 2019 – thanks to people willing to take advantage of volunteer opportunities in Utah.
