This indicates your expected duties and responsibilities, as well as details of your remuneration. As a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah, you are not applying for a salaried position. Therefore, you are not considered to be an employee.
Volunteer
When you join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah as a volunteer, you freely give your time to help others. One option is to become a mentor. Known as a Big, you will be matched with a Little, who you take under your wing. You will help guide them, be a reliable friend, help with school work, be there to listen, and generally be a stable, positive role model in their life. If you cannot serve in this capacity, the volunteer opportunities in Utah can extend to helping out at events and hosting clothing drives. You do not get paid for this volunteer work, but you will still undergo training.
